Welcome back to the Mae B  Mindful podcast.
In this episode, Hannah explores the fascinating difference between the subconscious mind and the higher self — and how much of our daily behavior is actually being driven by old survival programming rather than conscious choice.
Through the lens of hypnosis, subconscious healing, nervous system regulation, and spiritual awareness, this conversation dives into why people often feel stuck in repeating emotional cycles, self-sabotage, people-pleasing, fear, scarcity, and overdrive… even when they consciously want something different.
Hannah breaks down how the subconscious assigns meaning based on past experiences and emotional conditioning, while higher wisdom, intuition, and clarity arise from a completely different source — one rooted in presence rather than fear.
This episode explores:
The difference between subconscious reactions and higher guidance
Why your reactions aren’t “wrong” — but may not be accurate
How survival programming shapes identity and behavior
The role of hypnosis in clearing subconscious “static”
Why intuition feels calm, clear, and non-forceful
The connection between creativity, joy, and subconscious healing
Heart-brain coherence and shifting out of fight-or-flight
How unresolved emotional patterns block peace and clarity
Why subconscious clearing naturally creates behavioral change
The relationship between subconscious work, spiritual alignment, and higher frequency states
Hannah also shares insights from her recent Awaken / 7th Path Self-Hypnosis® training and how participants experienced surprising shifts in boundaries, self-trust, clarity, and emotional freedom simply through clearing subconscious material.
This episode is a powerful invitation to begin questioning the internal programs running beneath the surface — and reconnecting with the deeper wisdom already available within you.

In this third installment of the boundary series, we move into the deepest layer yet—spiritual boundaries.
Not the kind you speak out loud…but the kind you form through agreement.
Because before anything is expressed externally, it is first accepted internally.
This episode explores the subtle and often unseen ways that beliefs, perceptions, and thoughts shape your reality—and how, without awareness, we can come into agreement with things that quietly diminish our power, clarity, and connection.
Through a psycho-spiritual lens, we explore the nature of fear, confusion, subconscious patterning, and what many traditions refer to as spiritual warfare—not as something distant, but as something that unfolds within the terrain of our own being.
You’ll be invited into a deeper level of discernment…not through fear or hyper-vigilance,but through grounded awareness, humility, and reconnection to truth.
Because spiritual boundaries are not about control—they are about clarity.
In this episode, we discuss:
Spiritual boundaries as internal agreement, not just external action
The “plane of thought” as the true point of influence
How unexamined beliefs become lived realities
Fear vs. intuition—and how to tell the difference
Confusion as a decoy that keeps you stuck on the surface
The subconscious roots of emotional reactions and perception
Spiritual warfare as an internal, lived experience
The role of distraction, attachment, and disconnection from truth
How giving attention and agreement transfers authority
The importance of humility in shifting perception and belief
Reclaiming your inner authority through awareness and choice
Core reflection:
What am I agreeing with right now?And is it true?
This conversation is not about becoming afraid of your mind—it’s about becoming aware of it.
And in that awareness, you begin to return to your authority, your clarity, and your connection to what is real.

In this episode, we move beyond relational boundaries and into a more subtle, yet deeply impactful layer: energetic boundaries.
Many people find themselves feeling overwhelmed—not because of what’s happening externally, but because of what they’re unconsciously carrying internally.
This conversation explores the difference between empathy and enmeshment, how the nervous system absorbs and interprets emotional information, and why sensitivity without discernment can lead to depletion rather than connection.
Through both a psychological and spiritual lens, we begin to understand how awareness, grounding, and self-connection allow us to remain open-hearted—without losing ourselves in the process.
 In This Episode
What energetic boundaries are—and why they matter
How emotional resonance turns into enmeshment
The nervous system’s role in sensing and absorbing others’ states
The impact of early conditioning and hypervigilance
Why carrying others’ pain does not serve them—or you
The importance of discernment in highly sensitive individuals
How to return to self without shutting down compassion
The relationship between peace, clarity, and energetic integrity
A grounding metaphor for maintaining inner stability
True compassion is not the absence of boundaries—it is the presence of clarity.
When we learn to distinguish what is ours from what is not,we begin to move through the world with greater steadiness, greater presence, and a deeper capacity to serve.
Just because you’re feeling somethingdoesn’t mean it belongs to you—and it doesn’t mean it’s true.

Boundaries can feel confusing, heavy, or even impossible at times…
and most of the advice out there doesn’t actually get to the root of why.
If you’ve ever felt like you know what you should say or do—but can’t seem to follow through…
this conversation will likely land.
In this episode, we explore what’s underneath boundary struggles and why it’s not as simple as just “saying no.”
🔹 In this episode, we touch on:
why boundaries can feel so difficult to hold
the disconnect between knowing and actually following through
how patterns like people-pleasing and overextending show up
the role of self-trust and internal clarity
why waiting for permission doesn’t work
how certain relationships tend to challenge this more than others
what begins to shift when you reconnect with yourself
There’s a deeper layer to this work that isn’t always talked about—
and that’s where real change starts to happen.
Part 2 will go into energetic boundaries and what you may be taking on that isn’t yours.

Parenting teens is a different terrain.
The behavior can feel intense, reactive, even disrespectful. But what if we’re misinterpreting it?
What if the behavior isn’t the problem…but the signal?
In this episode, we explore:
Why acting out is often a call for containment• How boundaries actually create safety (even when resisted)• The two extremes parents fall into — control vs. fixing• The middle path that requires presence, steadiness, and trust• Why your nervous system sets the tone for the entire environment• How kids organize around you — not what you say, but what you are• Why self-care is leadership, not indulgence• The concept of para-cycles and generational patterns• Parenting as a process of self-evolution and returning to yourself
The outstanding issue is not your child.
It’s you.
And that’s not blame —it’s power.
This episode is an invitation to step into grounded leadership,to hold the line without collapsing into control or avoidance, and to meet both yourself and your child with deeper awareness.

Authenticity is often presented as the highest state of personal growth. But what if authenticity alone isn’t enough?
In this episode of the Maybe Mindful Podcast, Hannah explores the difference between authenticity and truth, and why simply expressing what is present within us does not necessarily mean we are operating from our true self.
In a culture that constantly encourages us to “speak our truth” and “be authentic,” many people are sincerely searching for their identity. Yet much of what we believe about ourselves was formed early in life through conditioning, emotional imprinting, and subconscious beliefs that we absorbed before we had the ability to question them.
When these beliefs go unexamined, what feels authentic may actually be a protective part of the psyche — an emotional echo from the past rather than a reflection of present truth.
Hannah discusses the concept of emotional resonance, why disproportionate reactions often reveal deeper subconscious patterns, and why authenticity without discernment can sometimes reinforce the very wounds we are trying to heal.
She also addresses the viral claim that authenticity “vibrates higher than love,” explaining why this idea is both scientifically unsupported and spiritually misleading.
This conversation explores the deeper journey of deconditioning, the importance of emptying the cup, and why reconnecting with the true self requires both discernment and an anchor in truth.
In this episode we explore
• Why authenticity and truth are not always the same• The difference between the true self and the false self• Emotional resonance and disproportionate reactions• Why feelings are not always facts• The dangers of “my truth” culture• Why authenticity alone cannot guide the spiritual path• The viral claim that authenticity vibrates higher than love• Why love is the deeper orienting principle• The importance of emptying the cup to rediscover the unobstructed self• How subconscious work helps restore connection to our true identity
Key reflections
Authenticity reveals what is present.Love refines what is present.
Much of what we believe about ourselves is on loan until we discover what is true.
The goal is not to be authentic to our wounds. The goal is to return to the truth of who we are.

What if healing doesn’t always take time…but permission?
In this episode, I explore the difference between transformation and transmutation — not managing symptoms, not coping harder, but changing the state underneath the pain.
We talk about:
Why some emotional pain shifts instantly• The difference between surface change and substance change• How resistance hardens emotion• Why presence allows energy to reorganize• The nervous system’s role in emotional release• Faith as an organizing force• Why grief, anger, and fear are not fixed identities
Emotions are not permanent structures. They are energy in motion.
And when that energy is met instead of resisted, something profound can happen.
This episode is about remembering that healing and freedom are not always slow.
Sometimes pain doesn’t need more time.
Sometimes it needs to change form.

What if the thing that keeps stealing your peace isn’t your partner, your children, or your circumstances — but the moment you step out of your own lane? In this episode, I explore radical self-responsibility — not as self-blame, and not as fixing yourself — but as returning to your own inner authority. The kind of responsibility that softens you back into presence, clarity, and grounded power.
I share a real-life story from a recent family trip — navigating sudden travel decisions, teenage pushback, emotional triggers, and the temptation to manage everyone’s experience in order to feel okay myself. And in that moment, I was reminded: the most direct path to harmony in our relationships isn’t changing others. It’s returning to ourselves.
We explore why humility is the doorway to true power, why fixing and controlling others drains us, how witnessing can be more loving than correcting, and why acceptance doesn’t mean liking — it means releasing control. I talk about staying in your lane, not personalizing emotional reactions, setting boundaries without blame, and how taking responsibility for even your “1%” restores peace and agency. We also touch on fear as future-tripping, and gratitude as a stabilizing spiritual force that brings us back to center.
This is a conversation about remaining grounded when everything around you invites reaction — and how peace becomes possible when you stop trying to hold the whole world together.
In this episode, we explore:
• Radical self-responsibility as inner authority• Parenting without personalizing• Staying in your lane instead of controlling• Boundaries without blame• Witnessing instead of fixing• Acceptance as a spiritual practice• Fear as future-tripping• Gratitude as a stabilizing force
If you’ve ever felt responsible for everyone’s emotional state, tried to manage people into harmony, or found yourself exhausted by disappointment in relationships — this episode is for you.

In the first episode of 2026, we’re talking about something that’s especially relevant in January — when we’re setting intentions, making spiritual commitments, and declaring who we’re becoming.
But here’s the truth: the soul doesn’t reset like a calendar — it integrates. And when we skip integration and patch the outside, we can accidentally fall into spiritual bypassing.
In this episode, Hannah Mae explains:
What spiritual bypassing is and why it’s usually unconscious
How “holy ideals” can be weaponized against ourselves and others
Why bypassing doesn’t make us well — it deteriorates our spiritual condition over time
How bypassing shows up through forgiveness, toxic positivity, condemnation, activism, fixing others, escapist spirituality, and boundary avoidance
Why suppressed emotions become trapped energy in the body (and how it spills out sideways)
The reframe: fear is a non-event — and healing is often faster than avoidance
The solution: surrender, receptivity, co-regulation, honest emotional processing, subconscious work, and embodiment
If this resonates, you’re not broken — you’ve adapted wisely — and something deeper is calling you forward.
